Complete Plumbing & Heating Package for a Lakeside Bach Retreat
At Plumbing & Heating Centre, we were proud to be part of a stunning new residential build, located at the picturesque Kai Iwi Lakes Road. This thoughtfully designed bach is nestled in one of Northland’s most scenic locations, offering the perfect blend of modern comfort and natural beauty.
Our team was engaged to deliver a full suite of plumbing, drainage, heating, and gas services - bringing warmth, efficiency, and functionality to every corner of the home.
The alfresco area features a Jetmaster 700D outdoor wood fire, creating a cosy gathering space for year-round entertaining. Installed with precision, this open fire adds both ambience and warmth to the outdoor living zone, perfectly complementing the lakeside lifestyle.
Inside, the Gazco Studio 3 gas fire takes centre stage in the living room. Its sleek design and efficient heating make it a standout feature, offering both style and comfort for the cooler months.
We installed a Rinnai 24L LPG Califont and ran gas lines to the kitchen, campers’ kitchen, and living room fire - ensuring seamless hot water delivery and efficient gas appliance operation throughout the home.
To support sustainable living, we supplied and installed a Nova Energy solar hot water system tailored to a 300L cylinder setup. This system helps reduce energy costs while providing reliable hot water for the household.
We installed an RXP Airtech 9000 aerated septic system, including all necessary excavation work. This robust system ensures safe and efficient wastewater management, tailored to the site’s needs.
From the hot and cold plumbing to sub-floor drainage, our team handled every detail. Fixtures were installed to spec, including a Sigma 330L stainless steel cylinder, UV filtration system, and solar tempering valves - ensuring clean, pressurised water throughout the home.
We completed all external stormwater and sewer drainage, connecting the home to the water tank and septic system. This included digger work, fines, and installation of a first flush diverter kit to protect water quality.
A Clivet 14.5kW heat pump powers the underfloor heating system, delivering consistent warmth across the home. We coordinated with electricians to ensure seamless integration and performance.
To finish off the build, we supplied and laid 1.5mm grey rubber membrane roofing, including allproof waste outlets, ensuring a watertight and durable finish over the substrate ply.
