At Plumbing & Heating Centre, we were happy to deliver a complete plumbing and gas installation for a new Liquid Laundromat site in Dargaville - designed to meet the high demands of a busy, self-service laundry facility. Known for their fast, efficient, and eco-friendly laundry solutions, Liquid Laundromat locations require robust infrastructure to keep operations running smoothly.
This project involved a full external and internal fit-out, including hot and cold water plumbing, gas supply, and water storage systems - all tailored to support multiple commercial-grade washing machines and dryers.
We supplied and installed an 18-bottle gas station, complete with a custom-built block cage, pipe gates, and roof structure on an existing concrete pad. Gas lines were run to all appliances, and two Rinnai HD200 external gas califonts were mounted on the rear wall to provide continuous hot water.
Our team also handled all hot and cold plumbing, including the installation of a laundry tub and waste/stack system connected to the existing external drainage. A 5,000L water tank was installed and connected to town supply via a high-flow ballcock system, with a booster pump housed in a large pump cover and an RPZ valve installed and tested for compliance.
We also fitted owner-supplied flue systems and completed all roof penetration flashings and soaker flashings to ensure a watertight finish.
This installation ensures the laundromat has reliable hot water, efficient drainage, and compliant gas infrastructure to support high-volume use. With durable components and a well-planned layout, the site is ready to deliver the fast turnaround and convenience Liquid Laundromat is known for.
