The new floating pontoon and gangway has allowed the Dargaville wharf to be connected to the Northern Wairoa River. This great floating pontoon solution rises and falls with the large tides in the Northern Wairoa River, providing fantastic opportunity for the locals by rekindling travel on the river and swimming for some! Plumbing & Heating Centre were engaged to connect the water supply and install hose tap on the floating pontoon. This was done by running a water line from the head of the gangway to the pedestal of the pontoon in 20mm Blueline Water Pipe under the gangway through ducting pipe.
