New Drains & Repairs

When it comes to new drains and repairs, our team of experts has got you covered. Whether you’re dealing with broken sewer pipes, the need to divert a drainage line, or require a complete drainage solution for a new building, we have the skills and experience to handle it all.

Older houses were often built with clay sewer pipes, which over time can crack due to ground movement or heavy vehicles driving over them. Today, Drain Waste & Vent (DWV) 100mm PVC pipe is the most commonly used pipe for residential drains. Our team is well-versed in working with this modern material, ensuring that your new drains will be durable and long-lasting.

Any new drainage work over a certain length requires a council inspection and sign-off. We understand the importance of meeting these regulations and can take care of this process for you, including arranging for an inspector to visit the site once the job is complete. With our help, you can rest assured that your new drainage system will be up to code and fully compliant.

If you’re in need of new drains or repairs, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our team is ready to provide you with a comprehensive solution that will meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

Wastewater Systems

Septic tanks are a necessary component for properties that are located outside of the boundaries of the town’s sewer supply. These systems are commonly found on farms or lifestyle properties where there is limited or no access to council sewer lines. Septic tanks process the waste (black and grey water) from your bathroom, kitchen, and laundry.

Many properties in the Kaipara and Whangarei district utilize a standard single chamber concrete septic tank. These systems, however, can collapse over time or cause constant blockage issues. In these cases, we can replace it with the same concrete tank system, either a single chamber or double chamber.

With new builds, an ‘aerated’ septic system is often specified in the plans. These systems provide an additional level of treatment compared to standard septic tanks. They have mechanical pumps that require regular maintenance and a continuous power supply. We commonly use the RXP Airtech systems. These systems are reliable, efficient, and low maintenance.

We offer a wide range of services for septic tank systems, including installation, repairs, and maintenance. Whether you’re building a new home or upgrading an existing system, our team is here to help you choose the best solution for your needs. We take pride in providing the highest quality workmanship, along with excellent customer service.

Blocked Drains

Blocked drains are a common problem for both commercial and residential properties. Blocked sewer pipes can be caused by a variety of things, such as foreign objects being flushed down the toilet, cooking fat poured down the sink, or tree roots growing into the pipe underground. When a sewer pipe is blocked, you may notice liquid backing up in the toilet, sink, or shower, as the water cannot flow away and comes back up the drain instead.

Blocked stormwater pipes are also a common problem, although not as hazardous as sewer pipes. Stormwater pipes are generally connected to spouting, and the cause of blockage can be dirt, leaves, or debris build-up that has flowed down the pipe and got blocked, or tree roots causing blockage.

We have the equipment and expertise to determine the cause of the problem and unblock the drain in a timely manner. Our team is experienced in handling both residential and commercial jobs, and we use state-of-the-art technology to quickly and effectively clear blocked drains. We can also provide regular maintenance services to prevent future blockages and keep your drainage system running smoothly.

Don’t let a blocked drain cause damage to your property or disrupt your daily routine. Contact us for prompt, professional service that will get your drains flowing freely again. We are here to help you with any blocked drain repair and maintenance needs.
